Rob Keens started to develop a strong passion for the electronic music in the early 90s. After his classical music education in playing accordion he got inspired from the legends as Kraftwerk and Jean-Michael Jarre, but also from the early sounds of acid and techno. From this point on he got the first time in touch with synths and music
programs.
In the middle of the 90s he met Sebastian Kramer. Both learned at the same school and recognized the same passion for the electronic music. Influenced by the sound of detroit and the same fall of industry and culture they could comprehend the way of thinking of the people they were inspired from.
In 2001, they and some others opened their own club called "concord" in saxony, and offers him to get in touch with many international acclaimed techno artists of whom he got inspired too. From the beginning on he supports the uprising content-records label and believes in the hypnotic, intelligent, hard techno sound.
Because of his early musical education he is quite close into melodic and harmonic elements but also spirited by abstractness, and tribalism. His sounds tends into a deep and minimalized, floating context for the floor.
